Supporting young people in schools is deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding and emotionally complex. I offer reflective supervision for school counsellors, pastoral staff, listening teachers, and wellbeing officers, providing a safe and thoughtful space to explore challenges, strengthen confidence, and sustain resilience in your role. Where the guidelines of professional practice permit, this work may be recognised as supervision; where a formal clinical supervision is required, this can be taken up as mentorship for continuing professional development.

What This Support Offers

Supervision provides a dedicated time to pause and reflect on your practice, helping you:

  • Think through the challenges of supporting young people.

  • Develop greater confidence in your therapeutic approach.

  • Safeguard your own well-being while sustaining professional effectiveness.

A Neurodiversity Informed Perspective When Needed

Drawing on long experience in psychotherapy, multidisciplinary work team working and education, I bring an integrated perspective that bridges clinical and classroom worlds. This allows us to think together about neurodivergent clients — including those with autism, ADHD, and learning differences — in ways that are both practically grounded and therapeutically informed.

Who Is It For

  • School counsellors

  • Pastoral care staff

  • Listening teachers

  • Wellbeing officers

Practicalities

Supervision sessions are available online or in person. They are charged at £90 per 50-minute session and invoiced termly in advance.

Additional Training & Workshops

Alongside supervision, I also provide INSET training and workshops for school teams on supporting neurodivergent learners. These interactive sessions are designed to equip staff with both practical strategies and reflective understanding.
