Neurodiversity Advisory
For Professionals
Neurodiversity Mentorship for Professionals:
One to one or small group mentorship for school pastoral care leaders/teams, individual teachers/school staff or therapeutic professionals is offered in person or online. These sessions, often scheduled monthly, offer professionals an opportunity to further their understanding of neurodivergence and executive functioning, thus helping cultivate more effective strategies for therapeutic engagement with neurodivergent clients.

Workshops and training for schools and other organisations:
I offer a wide range of talks and workshops for schools and organisations focusing on neurodiversity and mental health. The aim of each session is to support and empower teachers, parents, SENDCOs, school nurses, pastoral care staff, therapists and other professionals by providing insights and resources to help them better understand and serve the needs of the young people in their care.

For Parents
Having worked for many years across the age-range in education in my roles as teacher, SENDCo (special educational needs and disabilities coordinator), psychoeducational assessor and vice principal, together with my in-depth experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team as a psychotherapist, I have developed my Neurodiversity Support Services. This area of my work focuses on identifying constructive pathways to supporting children, adolescents and young adults on their journey through education. The aim is to look in-depth at educational and therapeutic needs together, including behavioural support structures where needed, and help to identify what might be blocking current educational progress and more generally impacting on a child or young person’s quality of life.
An Initial Consultation includues:

When appropriate, I can work with you following to help improve communication channels with school or other professionals
Understanding Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
I offer guidance on understanding the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process. I can help you think about your child’s developmental and educational needs, reflect on your child’s current educational environment and the support structures around them, and identify appropriate sources of support as you consider the next steps.
