Supporting the
Mental Health of Neurodivergent
Adolescents & Teens
in a School Setting

This talk explores the concept of neurodiversity and how it relates to mental health support in a school setting. We will focus on the often invisible social communication challenges indicative of differences such as ADHD and Autism, and discuss how mental health support for these adolescents and teens often differs from traditional approaches. We will also discuss what individuals can do to support mental health within the school environment.

This talk can also be delivered as a parents workshop as a way for schools/organisations to support parents in developing a better a understanding of their child's strengths and needs.
