About the workshop

This talk aims to help your school or organisation develop a shared understanding of ADHD from a neurodevelopmental perspective. It will clarify the different types of ADHD, and how ADHD can present differently in different children and young people.

We will examine how ADHD can impact daily functioning and how it affects life at school. We will explore possible areas of difficulty such as social interaction, communication and behaviour, and the potential for exceptional skills and talents. We will also look at how to support school life and mental wellbeing for these students.

This talk can also be delivered as a parents workshop as a way for schools and organisations to support parents in developing a better understanding of their child’s strengths and needs.
